Akira Kurobane, the Head of the Researcher department of

Professor Akira is the head of the Researcher department of the Trainer-Island.

Bio
Born and raised in the Ecruteak city of Johto, Akira is a very shy young man, despite his eery atmosphere and depressing looks. He is very sickly person, for he can never take care of himself whenever he is indulged with his researches. Very withdrawn, he tries to be 'gentle' with his students, only that he ends up creeping them out.

Akira is an old acquaintance of Ruben, having met him when Ruben was traveling around Johto.

Despite his shy demeanors and inner gentle personality, Akira is never to be underlooked, for he can be quite terrifying when he needs to be.

Current Research
His current research is something about "Ghost pokemons and its' relations towards the afterworld and the other spirits".

Random facts
Akira has tendency to randomly cough out bloods while speaking, when he forgets to take his medications, but it's not something extremely serious.
